We would love to adopt a pet to you. The first step is up to you.
Please complete the appropriate Adoption Application (dog or cat) on this web site.
We will work to quickly approve your application. We can then schedule the appointment to meet/greet/adopt your new pet. Communications will be conducted via email.
WE ONLY ADOPT TO KENTUCKY, INDIANA, AND OHIO
Any information found to be incorrect may result in this application being denied.
We accept cash or check only for adoption donations.

Adoption Fees:
SAAP is committed to achieving our mission of providing loving homes for at risk dogs and cats and aims to keep adoption fees as low as possible.
Below are our minimum adoption fees. We accept cash and/or check. Applicable Kentucky Sales Tax will be added when the adoption is finalized in the state of Kentucky.
- Puppies $300.00 2 to 6 months
- Most adult dogs $200.00 7 months to 7 years
- Purebreds or Designer $300.00
- Senior 8 years and older $50
- Senior Purebred or designer mixed breeds $100.00
- Adult Cats $75.00
- Kittens & Purebreds $100.00
